Depending on the extent of alterations being made, Dr. Hainer can perform either open rhinoplasty or closed rhinoplasty surgery. Open rhinoplasty entails making an incision across the colummella and lifting the skin away from the cartilage. The closed technique would only require incisions on the inside of the nose. Simple, modest changes can be done through the closed method; otherwise, tip work and anything more extensive will require open nasal surgery.
